Your Lords Message For Today

No matter how damaged you think you are, God still has something meaningful planned for you.

No matter how damaged you think you are, God still has something meaningful planned for you.

Life difficulties are often faced by individuals which can modify their character, weaken their faith, or alter their beliefs. Many Christians will encounter abuse, abandonment, business failures, and addiction. However, living by the thought of being molded through God’s image and likeness, Christians will believe they are still worthy despite the damage.

On the other hand, some individuals vary when it comes to their coping mechanisms and resiliency. Others may feel easily down by shame, disappointment, grief, emotional pain, family problems, sickness, and even rejection. One cannot really judge an individual based on his/her past or current mistakes and undertakings, because only God can see the depth of one’s impairment.

Validate Your Pain and Disgrace

Oftentimes, you may feel like your emotions are taking its toll and getting the best out of you. You will feel worthless, hopeless, damaged, chaotic, and a complete mess that is not worthy of redemption. Behold, for Romans 3:10 says, “There is no one righteous, not even one.” Just like all human beings who are capable of erring, you are still worthy of God’s repairment and forgiveness.  All you need to do is acknowledge that you are at your weakest point and in need of His divine presence. If you will not accept your failures, it will eventually affect how you view life and God.

Downfalls are part of honing your character and disposition in life. Brave people have gained courage through conquering their fears. Strong people have gained their strength through experiencing struggles and weaknesses. Joyous people have sensed happiness because they have recognized how sadness feels like. Life is all about accepting all that’s thrown at you and using it to be better instead of allowing it to destroy you wholly.

One Step Backward, Two Steps Forward

When life pulls you down once, rise up twice and as much as possible. God has given hope to all sinners that they shall not remain unrighteous for the rest of their life. If the waves of despair are strong enough to get you drowned, surf better and hold on tighter. Do not let your shortcomings form your identity as God’s child; in His mighty name you will recover and prosper. Romans 6:14 declares, “For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace.” God cleanses and forgives those who come to Him for help. Surrender your problems to God and let Him enter your life.

Whenever you feel discouraged, the only one whom you should run to is Jesus. Do not allow fortune, money, relationships, and any material things to give you temporary escape from your captivity. As a Christian, only Seek God and the Holy Spirit to realign your direction into what is good for you. He gives permanent healing and renovation to your damaged individuality. You will realize you are still who you are, just of better quality and value.

God Has Plans for You

No matter how damaged you think you are, God still has something meaningful planned for you. You are not where you are without a reason. You can use your worst experiences to share your story of success to people. You can tell them about your struggles that you have overcome through God’s divine providence. You can tell them how to rise up from every drawback. There’s a lot of ways where you can change your dark miseries into a story of hope. What’s important is not to think about giving up and just continue thriving in life.

You can be an instrument for other damaged people to believe that God is there for them and they can also be saved from devastation. Going through obstacles can be a privilege for you to proclaim God’s words to everyone and be a source of inspiration. Christian living revolves around positivity while dealing with negativity. With God by your side, you will never feel alone. As Colossians 1:13 puts it, “For He has rescued us and has drawn us to Himself from the dominion of darkness, and has transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son.”

Today Tip of the Day

Sometimes, you may desire something and it may not be given to you. Instead, you are steered into another lane which makes you question your substance. Know that God will never abandon you in every battle you may face. He is just behind you, waiting for you to respond to His light and message. You are not failing in life if you have the ability to turn your damage into power. After every impairment, things will never be the same as before, not because you’re not totally repaired, but because you have been renewed to become even better.
