As you continue to live in the world full of modernization, you also experience its advancement and improved aspects that's beneficial to mankind. Such things are good and God is not in opposition to it, as long as you use it for His greater glory. 

Everyday, you are surrounded by machines and different technological structures that are helpful in making tasks easier for you. Those high technologies are brought to function by the skillful individuals who are gifted by God. He gave certain individuals the power to make things for everyone to enjoy, make use, and prosper. 

Computer softwares, for example, is very vital to make one's responsibility more functional. A software is responsible for running a program on the computer, making its hardware useful and operational. The same thing goes with God's purpose for the world. He blessed people with inept skills and abilities in order to contribute to the society and make the world a better and more improved place. 

Find Your Purpose

Everyone is given special talents and skills that can be used for good. Your task is to find and nurture it, so you can use it to do what God wants for you to accomplish. 1 Corinthians 12:21 says, "The eye cannot say to the hand, ‘I don’t need you!’ And the head cannot say to the feet, ‘I don’t need you." Just like the software in your computer, you also have your own purpose and ability that is helpful for others. You just need to create an impact and use your intelligence to glorify God's works here on earth. 

God is telling you to do things like the software: subtle but powerful. You don't need to proclaim your mightiness to the world. God is enough as a witness who sees and hears all you do. What you should focus on is your duties and responsibilities as one of His followers. 

Exercise God's Valuable Blessings

What you should do with the skills that you have is to practice and be more knowledgeable in that field. If God has given you a special skill that means He trusts your ability to create and invent useful things that would make everyone know about His divine provision and greatness here on earth. 

Exodus 35:31-32 declares, “And he has filled him with the Spirit of God, with skill, with intelligence, with knowledge, and with all craftsmanship, to devise artistic designs, to work in gold and silver and bronze.” You are put in this world to help Him build the kind of world He wants for His people. No matter how big or small your contributions are, be thankful that you are able to exercise your skills and manifest them into better things and creations. 

Be Responsible in Using God's Gifts

Software applications come with great responsibility and restraint. It is expected for someone to take advantage of the convenience that technology is giving us, that’s why it’s imperative to be mindful of its proper uses and function. God wants to remind you in 1 Corinthians 6:12, “All things are lawful for me, but not all things are helpful. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be dominated by anything.” 

Appropriate and moderate consumption of everything is highly encouraged by Him. Too much use of technological software can harm and disrupt your focus from what’s good and proper. If you allow yourself to be eaten by its advancement, you will slowly lose interest in ordinary things, even in doing things that used to please God’s commands. When the sound of technology is too loud, you will not be able to hear what they want you to know.

The world is constantly evolving and God doesn’t want you to be left behind. Technology is not prohibited by Him as long as you use it to do valuable things that are not harmful and detrimental to your spiritual health and Christian living. The worst thing you can do is alter your Christian beliefs and be more astonished in machineries compared to His divine power. However, with sufficient control and discipline, you will be able to come up with a better innovation that glorifies His will and guiding principles.
