What keeps any vehicle moving while traveling to any destination is a tank gauge full of gas. Oftentimes, there will be moments in your life where you feel like you can do anything, where you are certain you can reach anything, or you’re too confident you will never run out of gas. That kind of mindset will bring you disappointment in the end, and will cost you way more than what you bargained for. 

Just like a vehicle, what keeps your life moving and stirring in the road is the presence of God who fills you with strength and courage. He is the gas that allows you to reach wherever you want to be in life. Without Him, you won’t be able to see what’s waiting for you at the end of your journey. He is an important part of your endeavors; hence, you must always include and prioritize God before anything else. 

Listen to God; He Knows What’s Best for You

When God is telling you something, listen to Him and heed to His advice. Even if you feel like you can do things on your own, at the end of the day, He is the only one who has an idea what truly is in store for you in the future. Do not hesitate to follow His commands. Be firm in your faith that anything He does is for your own good. He will never do anything that can possibly hurt and destroy you because you are His child and you are precious in His eyes. 

Deuteronomy 5:27 tells you, “Go near and hear all that the Lord our God says, then speak to us all that the Lord our God speaks to you, and we will hear and do it.” Trust God’s word for everything that comes from His mouth is holy and true. If you wish to continue traveling in life, His message is the fuel that you need in order to continue journeying through life. With Him by your side, you will never have to worry about getting lost along the way.

Open Yourself to His Teachings

As a Christian believer, if you already know the right from wrong, refrain from being stubborn and obey His will accordingly. Evaluate yourself if you are still on His side and if your tank is still filled up with His words. Otherwise, your gas tank will be emptied in the middle of nowhere, with no one to help you but yourself. 

Proverbs 28:14 declares, “Blessed is the one who always trembles before God, but whoever hardens their heart falls into trouble.” It is important to check and satiate yourself with His teachings. If you know how to get away from the barriers on the road, you will reach your destination faster and safer. God will prepare the way for you to travel on with ease and convenience. 

Fill Up Yourself with God’s Righteousness

Do not let your tank run empty on gas. Always choose to fill it in order to keep the wheels rolling on the ground. In life, embrace the fact that you need God as your Savior and Redeemer. He is the missing piece that completes your inner being. As God said in Proverbs 11:14, “Where there is no guidance, a people fall, but in an abundance of counselors there is safety.” If you make Him as your fuel for the day, you will realize how far He can take you. If you fill yourself with His words and commands, you will reach your journey's end safely and securely. 

God is the best gas you can fill your tank gauge with. He comes into your life without a price; He just needs you to accept Him and you will never be missing on the road.

Travelling is part of everyone’s routine in life. Even if it’s just a few meters away, you still need gas to keep moving. You see, life without God is empty and immobile. If you are willing to pay for a full tank gas, how much more for Him who only wants your faithfulness and trust. Take time to get closer to Him and you will realize a lot of things that you thought were impossible. You will never know where He can take you. Even if your destination is just a few blocks away, He can lift you higher and drive you farther for miles on hour if you believe in the power of His fuel.
