A stock is an investment you make that allows you to have a share in a certain company you have chosen. When that company gains more profit over time, as an investor, you will also have bigger returns from that stock. That is why it is highly important to consider your choice of the company before putting your investments into it.

As the world advances, people are also trying to find ways on how to multiply their resources in order to cope with the fluctuations of life. Sustenance is probably one thing that comes to mind when the need for financial security is discussed. Hence, people run to invest in the stock market in the hopes of producing more money in the future.

One thing you need to consider is for what and for whom you are doing your investments. As a person of faith, always remember that in everything you do, you must include God in all your decisions. Ask yourself if the things you are doing are making you spiritually rich, not just financially. Only then you can attain genuine wealth and fulfillment in life.

Invest in Something That Benefits Humanity

There are a lot of companies that are looking for investors who can help them boost their supplies and stocks, but couldn’t find any because most of them prefer something highly developed. As an investor who values certain things more than monetary benefits, God is encouraging you to invest in stocks that are advantageous to humanity. Those are the kind of companies that need your help, which will also help you in return. God wants to remind you through Philippians 2:4, “Instead of each person watching out for their own good, watch out for what is better for others.”

If you are given the chance to help others, do it without hesitations and let God repay you for that certain deed. God has loved you for who you are, and as a devoted Christian, you must also love others and look after them like brothers and sisters.

Aim to be Righteous Rather Than to be Wealthy

Investments aren’t meant to solely revolve around financial aspects. As a good Christian follower, you must aim to exercise God’s will and do all things for His glory, not just for the desire of money. Investments surely will elevate your financial status, but bear in mind what God truly wants from you. It would be better if you choose to invest while uplifting other people from behind. Help any religious groups who are still persevering to be known and amplify their brand, especially those that involve preaching God’s words.

1 Timothy 6:17-19 declares, “As for the rich in this present age, charge them not to be haughty, nor to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, but on God who richly provides us with everything to enjoy. They are to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, thus storing up treasure for themselves as a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is truly life.” God blesses the kind of heart whom He believes will use it for greater good. So, if He has given you grace and the capability to raise others from the periphery, make sure you are striving to be righteous and not just to be wealthy.

Invest Into Serving God Alone

God said in Matthew 6:24, “No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.” Make it your objective to pursue an investment into something valuable and wholesome. Do not feel greedy and thirsty for money and just solely aim to be rich. Your earthly desires will not be able to save you at the end of the day. As much as possible, do things that will allow you to serve the Lord better. If a certain decision would only steer you away from God, it is best to stop and reconsider your plans in life.

Today Tip of the Day

If you wish to prosper in life while being wise with handling your finances, investing in stocks would be an accessible alternative for you. But bear in mind the things that you need to consider before doing so. Evaluate if it is something that is good and meaningful for you, for God, and for the people involved. Do not focus on exalting yourself alone while disregarding others. The only share that should matter is the wealth that you are going to reap soon in the kingdom of God. So, while you’re still here on earth, make sure your fortunes are shared, used for good, and consumed for God’s greater glory.
