The treatment that you give to others is the same treatment that your soul will have to receive. As a Christian follower, kindness is a huge virtue to embody. How you treat other people must accord to how you treat God as well. If you wish ill upon others, you cannot expect life to be awesome for you. However, if you do good to everyone, God will bless you with the riches He has prepared for you in heaven. 

Sometimes, people match their treatment towards their status and convenience. Never forget what matters in life, and that is loving your neighbor and one another. Regardless of one's social standing and life condition, open your heart to them and share your passionate desire for comfort and concern. 

God sees everything you do and he hears everything you say, even the ones that are only coming from your heart. If you seek to have the kind of treatment that is nurturing, be the person that speaks with kindness and acts with compassion. Shun the things that's only causing you to do unlikeable deeds that will not benefit you in the end. 

Nourish Yourself with Love

Love is the answer to everything. Because it allows your heart to see the goodness in people and refrain from criticizing them. Whenever the surrounding is not easy, if you are filled with love, you will always see and treat others with kindness and understanding. Control yourself from hurting anyone just because you are hurt or angry. You are responsible for your own emotions and allowing it to harm others with bad treatment is not pleasing in the eyes of God. 

Ephesians 4:29-32 says, "Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you." The world will become a better place if you learn to love other people and treat them with the same respect and perception. 

Obey God's Will Through Goodness

As a follower of Christ and a replica of His image and likeness, doing good and righteous things must always prevail in your actions. Matthew 7:12 declares, “So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets." You are not expected to be perfect like God, but you have a mission that needs to be fulfilled and that includes being a good Christian believer who respects and treats every individual as his/her brothers and sisters. 

Before you request other people's nice treatment towards you, make sure you are willing and are already doing the same. Moreover, even if people seem to be rude and insensitive around you, do not let them dim your genuineness and compassion. God wants you to continue bringing His righteousness within you. 

Walk the Talk

1 John 4:20-21 declares, "If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen. And this commandment we have from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother." 

You cannot love other people and treat them nicely if you are harsh to yourself. You cannot also claim to love God if you treat His people badly. The treatment you give to yourself must accord with the treatment you give to others. Only then you can proclaim that you have been following what God desires for His stewards. When love governs, there is peace and hope in everyone's hearts. When kindness prevails, everything will be bearable, even the ones that are hard to carry.

Today Tip of the Day 

Being able to treat other people with utmost righteousness is a gift from God. Not everyone is capable of having a soft heart that aims to live within God's words. If you see yourself being harsh lately, learn to be more compassionate and sensitive to your surroundings. Building your own emotional strength takes time, and that is something you should work on. Good people will remain good people regardless of the unfavorable situations in life.
